Marketing Proposal

XXXX Marketing Proposal for XYZ

Goal-To have an effective and profitable internet marketing that builds the online following and fan base of XYZ, not just one property, but all!

Social Media

1. Add social media links to direct mail

2. Add individual store fan pages on Facebook

3. Build Twitter following

4. Create viral YouTube videos for each location

Benefits: Social media is crucial for success and reaching your market in the age of the internet. Three out of four Americans use social technology (Forrester, The Growth Of Social Technology Adoption, 2008), and time spent on social networks is growing at three times the overall internet rate, accounting for 10% off all time spent online (Nielsen, Global Faces & Networked Places, 2009). If the population of just XXXX is 350,000 (U.S. Census Bureau, 2008) and the national average of time spent on the internet is 33 hours per week (New Media Update Feb. 2008), what this means to you is that 262,500 people in XXXX are spending almost 4 hours per week just on social media. This is something XYZ has to be a prominent part of for continued success.

Blog Optimization

1. Delegate!

2. More posts, more often

3. Promote special events at each location

4. Make others aware of fantastic guest feedback

Benefits: Blogging is a great way to get traffic to the web site and guests into the restaurants and XXX Blog posts also increase traffic through Search Engine Optimization (SEO) especially when key words are used in the blog. The reason this is so important to XYZ is when people are searching for great places to eat, your restaurants should be at the top of the list, not just so they are listed first but because people are not looking on page two of their search results.

Online Advertising

1. Add online editions of local papers

2. Target market advertising

3. Travel Industry

4. YELP

Benefits: Website newspaper audiences have increased 10.5% over the last year, while newspaper circulation has dropped 7%. Internet advertising is considerable less expensive than traditional print advertising and it is easy to find the correct advertising venues for the clientele you wish to attract.

Email Marketing

1. Social media links in every email campaign

2. More customized email marketing campaign

3. Create separate lists by interests

Benefits: Email marketing is by far the best ROI of any type of marketing. It is easily tracked and can optimize your marketing with comparatively little investment. This can include spreading your company’s message, event promotions, coupons, and a newsletter. When you make people aware of what is going on in your place of business it makes them want to be a part of it!

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

XYZ has a beautiful flash driven website. Because of this, traditional SEO will be ineffective. Flash driven sites do not “ping” the search engines, but there is a way around this.

The solution is link building. Link building will help each restaurant to be ranked in the top ten of search results for “fine dining XXXX, SC; fine dining Greenville, SC; low country cuisine XXX, SC; and restaurants XXXX, SC.” The search engines that would be creating the rank list are also linked to many GPS systems, a great resource for out of town visitors. Having XYZ properties ranked in the top ten will greatly increase traffic to the stores. At this time, none of the XYZ properties are ranked.

SEO is a very time intensive and specialized process that would need to be customized for each location, due to this, it is not included with our proposal. It is available as a separate service and our SEO expert is ready and willing to set up an appointment to discuss all the possibilities with you.

On original document, cost breakdown and contract followed.
